Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • 5+ years of construction experience, preferably with microwave and wireless site construction experience • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions • Ability to manage a specific project within a structured environment • Proven experience managing network roll outs from a design and planning stage through construction • Ability to evaluate the project site from concept to completion with thorough knowledge of material required/crews needed for designated project and the allotted time required to complete the site in a safe and timely manner • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency • Must be able to provide record and manage paperwork via hardcopy and electronic format • Organized with a strong attention to detail and capable of working with minimum supervision • Must be able to read, comprehend and interpret site plans, construction drawings and scopes of work • Must be able to create materials list based on plans/scope of work, order and compile materials for crew in advance of deployment • Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency. • Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations in tower industry • Ability to lead, teach and train proper work and safety procedures • Industrial First Aid and CPR certifications and experience • Demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety and general industry knowledge • Job related certifications such as safety, rescue, connector training and experience with various manufacturers • Present professional image at all times • Comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor work environment (direct exposure to sun and heat) • Working in the presence of RF Emissions • The ability to work weekends, nights and in extreme weather conditions if necessary • Ability to stoop, stand, sit, climb, handle items with hands and fingers, see clearly 20ft or more, talk and hear clearly • Tower climbing safety and rescue • Building and installing antenna mounts • Running and dressing coaxial cables • Grounding, mechanical and exothermic • Making coaxial cable terminations • Antenna installation • Weather sealing • Installing cable tray and coaxial support • Rigging techniques • Rappelling • Perform plumb and tension technique • Minimum of five years experience installing line and antenna work • Previous experience leading a crew • Previous experience in A&L wireless cell tower construction, including: tower climbing, repelling, sweep testing, ginpole use, stacking monopoles, erecting towers and other aspects • General site construction and minor electrical experience • Working knowledge of Fall Protection practice and procedures and tower life saving techniques • Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Certification is strongly preferred (willingness to acquire if training is provided) • Successful completion of safety in rigging coursework preferred • Valid driver’s license Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
